Balthazar and Elaine Sauer, two certified teachers, founded The Academy in 1993, after decades of entrepreneurial experience and senior executive leadership positions, on 3 continents, primarily in consumer-based educational businesses  (ranging from the direct sales of Encyclopedia Britannica; to home-based early childhood enrichments systems;  to home-based, self-study math educational systems). Their twin passions are seeing students succeed and watching their franchisees build thriving businesses that offer them tremendous financial and personal rewards.

Finding good instructors is never an issue with our Academies. We have a recruitment, screening, expertise assessment, hiring, and training process that works with great efficiency. There is an ever-ready supply of tutor candidates in the form of certified teachers, grad school students specializing in each subject domain we cover, industry professionals, and even undergrads doing specialized degrees. Regardless of credentials, your tutors will go through a battery of proprietary tests we'll provide you with to ensure each tutor is a true subject matter expert. Our Head Office team will recruit, assess, hire, and train all of your initial tutors, as you watch the process unfold. Thereafter, we are always available to assist you with tutor recruitment, so this is never an issue you need to worry about. After 28 years, we know EXACTLY how to do this with ease.

We are deeply committed to exceptional student learning outcomes. As a consequence, we focus on long-term relationships with our clients to maximize their learning gains. Academy students typically enroll in our 6-month or 12-month programs, with class attendance of 2 to 3 hours per week.  This structure guarantees that our students make tremendous progress - and also offers your Academy tremendous financial stability thanks to locked-in monthly recurring revenue over the long-term. In fact, you'll LOVE seeing your financial dashboard light up with "accounts receivables" projected 6 to 12 months into the future, based on scheduled rebills. This information will be housed in The Brain, your learning centre's management software.
